About us

Our KaliMera story begins in 2021 when we were given the opportunity to take control of a popular and much-loved holiday rentals company that had operated in Protaras for 10 years. Unfortunately, Brexit forced the company to close shop, and given my background in the properties and rentals markets, the owner asked if I was interested to take over the company.

With the Villa Owners' blessings, and the vote of confidence from the vastly experienced Resort Manager Rosie who I had worked with for a few seasons, we set sail on this new journey. Rosie has tons of experience in guest relationships and managing properties (she takes care of them like her own home!), and has lived in Cyprus for 20 years.

After lots of back and forth about finding the ideal name for the business, a live radio show gave me the Eureka moment to name it KaliMera, from the Greek Καλημέρα which means Good Morning, and also Καλή Μέρα which means Good Day! Given our niche and focus on guests with young families, and our unique villa setup, we are now proud to showcase KaliMera Family Villas ... our Property Rentals and Management Company in Protaras, Cyprus!

2023 is now our third season and we are still here, happy, healthy, and going strong ... always putting the guests' experience and villa owners satisfaction as our top priorities. Our goal is to grow our villa portfolio and make even more happy guests and owners a part of the KaliMera family, returning every season to our KaliMera Villas and Services with a smile!
